The Stadio Olimpico is a multi-purpose sports complex located in the Italian capital, Rome. It is the city's largest arena, with a capacity of over 70,000 spectators, and ranks second in size in Italy only to Milan's San Siro. In the past, the stadium could accommodate more than 100,000 people and was known as the "Stadium of the Hundred Thousand" (*Stadio dei Centomila*). The facility is owned by the state agency Sport e Salute, which manages sports infrastructure, while operational management is handled by the Italian National Olympic Committee.
